About This Project
Brand identity and packaging design for Shama Fireworks Industries, Jalgaon's iconic 75-year-old fireworks manufacturer established in 1950. From the legendary Volcano crackers to Tufan Mail, our designs honour their heritage while ensuring shelf impact during festive seasons across India.
The Challenge
Shama Fireworks Industries, a beloved Jalgaon legacy since 1950, needed updated packaging that preserved their nostalgic brand equity while meeting modern safety labelling requirements. With iconic products like Volcano, Tufan Mail, and Indian Cannon beloved across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Punjab, the designs had to balance heritage appeal with contemporary retail presence during the competitive Diwali season.
Our Appraoch
We retained the iconic white swan emblem - a symbol recognised across generations - within a bold red circular badge, complemented by vibrant yellow accents. The design system maintains the festive energy associated with Shama Fire products while incorporating clear safety information, product categorisation, and bilingual text. Each product line received distinct visual treatment while staying true to the unified Shama brand identity that has lit up Indian festivities for 75 years.
